TPI Certified Training
I’ve completed specialized training from Titleist Performance Institute, the industry leader in individualized golf training. TPI’s programs focus on how the body moves in relation to golf performance— meaning I can locate minor corrections and exercises to help you swing more efficiently, improve your game, and protect you from injury.
Guided by the knowledge of over 50 industry experts, 6 years of personal training experience, and pro-level resources, I’m ready to help you stay under par.
Typical concerns from golfers:
-
Golfers chase this above almost everything. Training focus: rotational power work (medicine ball throws, cable rotations), hip-shoulder separation drills, and force production through the ground (jump squats, split-squat jumps).
-
Off-season is when restrictions get fixed before they show up as compensations in-season. Focus: thoracic spine rotation, hip internal/external rotation, shoulder mobility — the joints that actually limit backswing and follow-through.
-
Especially relevant for anyone playing 3-4x a week once season starts — low back, lead wrist, and lead knee are the classic golf injury sites. Focus: core anti-rotation stability (the muscles that resist unwanted motion, not just build it), single-leg strength, and eccentric loading for the joints under the most swing stress.
-
Golfers notice their swing falls apart on the back nine or late in the season. Focus: postural endurance work, balance/proprioception training, and building strength reserves so the 15th swing of the round looks like the 1st.
